I
have played with Lego since before I can remember and had all the important
town sets, the fire station, police station and airport, and I just pulled
them apart to make uber death spaceships but it was fun. When I became
a teenager I had to move onto Technic and then stop getting Lego altogether
due to peer pressure. :( However with the appearance of Star Wars Lego
I get the chance to buy Lego with only a little derision and get the Star
Wars toys that I envied in others as a child. I have therefore built up
something of a collection of Star Wars Lego.
-
The X-Wing, it really is the best looking of the
Lego Star Wars toys and it was the only rebel ship available when I bought
it.

-
The Sith Infiltrator, a bit disappointing really
though it did include some nice bits and it was the only set to have Darth
Maul (the character I was rooting for in Episode One) with his double ended
lightsabre.

-
The Droid fighter, what can I say, I wondered how
it transformed and it was for sale waaaay to close to the checkout in Safeway...
It's an OK model as the fighter and as a droid it makes a good Nerf gun
target. Well worth it then...

-
Slave 1, Boba Fett's ship, a rather odd shaped thing
translates well to the Lego model including a little Solo in carbonite.
The minifig Boba Fett is great too.

-
The A-Wing, looks great from some angles but suffers
from others, well constructed though.

-
The B-Wing, neat folding wings and rotating cockpit
and a little rebel base, me like.

-
The Snow Speeder looks great from the front but loses
it a bit at the over heavy back. Overall a nice model and I just want an
AT-AT now!

-
The Scout Troopers on Speeder Bikes set is one of
my favourite, the troopers minifigs are neat and the bikes are very well
modelled and you get a Luke minifig too.

-
It's the Lego set of one of the best things in Episode 1, the pod racers. You get a load of figures and the pods look really good even if they all have beige bits under them to hold them up. And you get a Jar Jar minifig to ritually abuse so that's a perk. :)

The official Lego
site.
Get straight to the Star
Wars bit. Again it uses Flash
and Javascript so dunno how well it works on old browsers.
